this is how I did it...
1. Take a WOODEN(this is CRUCIAL) thread spool(okay, if you can't find one, you can substitute a styrofoam one...it's gotta be sturdy. directions for the styrofoam spool will be in parenthesis) 2. Get four long, thin nails, the kind used in building stuff, and a hammer.(Get four long, thin nails, and some elmer's glue) 3. Place the spool on a STURDY surface, hold one of the nails in the position you want, and pound it into place with the hammer.(Place the spool on a STURDY surface, push the first nail in where you want it, remove it, and then put elmer's glue in the hole and replace nail. let glue dry.) 4. Take a second nail, and position it DIRECTLY across from the first nail. these two nails will affect the placement of the remaining nails. hammer it into place.(repeat step three on opposite side of spool top) 5. Position third nail between first two nails and hammer into position.(Position, push through, remove, glue, replace nail, let glue dry.) 6. Repeat step 5 across from third nail. (yadda yadda)
as for how to use it...umm...this is kinda hard to explain without pictures...sorry... sweatdrop
