Lament of the Wolf

[Wolfie Kid]

The glare of snow-capped mountains,
Basking in the approaching twilight,
The endless drifting of the soft cold,
The sky a grey yet warming space.

Lost upon the mountain's spine,
The wind whipping up snowy powder,
Coat rugged yet beautiful,
A cry that could peirce the soul.

Slowly, slowly, desperately crawling,
The night spirit pouncing on her back,
The wolven mother, alone and weary,
And only the new day for hope.

Yeah... I fancy myself more as an author, but I find that poetry can be quite relaxing and enjoyable too.

I love nature writes. I am inspired most by the outdoors and my Mother Earth. This was beautiful and very vivid. Only thing I saw wrong was the misspelling of the word pierce, in your second stanza. I am guilty myself of making spelling errors and punctation errors. (never hesitate to let me know wink ) I'm enjoying your poetry this morning. Thank you.
