i dont know about you but lately i have been hearing a lot of rumors about a fourth and maybe even fifth PotC coming out. at first i didnt really believe it much, thinking that someone was just trying to get our hopes up or something but ppl have been swearing that they have read reports of the producer and/or director saying that they are offically going to make more movies. i do admit that when i looked into it that the producer did say that they were thining of it because so many ppl liked the series but still i really dont know for sure if that is really true.
as much of a fanatic about PotC as i am i really dont think that they should make a fourth or fifth movie. i mean i would love it if they had a good plot but its a fact that the longer movies get dragged out the worse they become. it would really ruin the magic of the first movie. a trilogy, in my mind, would be the perfect place to end it.
i would like to hear your thoughts on the matter. and if you really have found proof that they really are going to make more movies (not just plans or thoughts about it) then i would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a link to your sources.

I did hear that Johnny Depp said he would do Jack Sparrow again for as many POTC movies as they wanted to make because Jack is his favorite character....so as long as Johnny Depp is Jack Sparrow they can make 100 POTC movies!!!

I did read they're in a works of a 4th movie, not a 100% sure though. I would absoltuly love it if they made more then just the typical triology.

I think after a trilogy, it'll kinda be not so interesting anymore. Like, I don't really like movie series that are just dragged on and on for the sake of using the same name to make money. They always end up being un-original or just really crappy

JD said that he loves palying the charecter and would do a 4th or 5th movie and i did hear sometihng about a 4th, which im not complaining about, lol

Well, they could to prequels to the three....like maybe the background of Captain Jack Sparrow and a few others and maybe the actual mutiny and all...that would be interesting....
