Last

[OptimisticallyPessimistic]

I look over the forest,
towards the last setting sun,
and my soul leaves this body,
this life is finally done.
My soul sprints on the wind
to leave on that fading light,
quickly, so very fast,
for soon it shall be night.
A purple curtain falls
over the golden shade
that drops my soul's heart:
it doesn't want to fade.
At last my soul reaches
the golden edge of the sky,
and all it can do is tear up:
one final, small cry.
The body, in it's last heat,
sees my soul crying: this is me,
and it smiles, through a last breath:
for once and all, at last I am free.

Man. That is powerful.

Lol no. I meant that I looked over the treetops towards the setting sun, my soul left my body, and escaped my life. So, with my last dying breath, I smiled.
