Pounding at my deaf stricken ear
I haven't heard this sound before
Nor any other sound in years
It sounds like screaming
Like death and pain
Like someones trying to say my name
I try to go,
I try to run.
But it's too late
It's already begun
If I could save her
If I could leave
I'd sail away to the Seven Seas
Across the sand dunes of Egypt gold
I'd take her away from the desolate cold.
