My kids have been ok.....but certain sims have turned out to be ugly

I haven't made many in-game kids and those few have turned out pretty ok. I usually make toddlers or teenagers when I'm creating the family because I think it takes so much time to teach them to walk and such. whee I'm also a person who likes to make her sims pretty looking so I think I should test and see if I get ugly kids from pretty parents. xd

Yeah I don't get that... I thought it was just me b/c I have one sim that's all custom stuff... skin tone, etc. He married someone with a darker skin tone but all the kids look like dark haired albinos! They have 6 kids with one on the way and only 1 so far is normal looking... Not even cute really just normal. I'm hoping the next one is at least normal b/c the first 2 look like someone dropped them on their faces.

Ugh this one time I had this beautiful custom skintone on one of my female sims and her child ended up inheriting the custom skin tone instead of his father's maxis skintone, and it looked HORRIBLE on him. He looks like he has dark circles under his eyes and like greasy skin. D:

I've made beautiful Sims and all have had beautiful babies. Even the adopted ones were cute. Guess I'm just lucky, though ;P.

Argh.
I hate that.
I had twins and they were from fairly attractive parents.
They had 2 girls and one turned out just drop dead gorgeous but the other one turned out horribly ugly that I killed her ^_____^
Killing sims solve everything.
Kidding.
But I don't know how one twin of the same gender could turn out so ugly.

All my sim kids born into the game have something wrong with them - atm, I have twin children - the girl has a dodgy chin, and the body has chubby cheeks. Their parents are pretty though!

I know what you're saying. My kids either get the really pretty genetics, or all of the ugly wierd genetics. Sometimes the kids don't even look like the parents. There was this one white family, and they had a tan child...wierdness. I'm not sure if the wife was in another affair...but whatever. -shrugs-

That happend to me! I found out that Mr. landgrab has terrible looking children! His son's nose goes in, he's not normal!
