Ok I just got The Sims 2 Seasons. Does anyone else have the problem of not being able to change the screen size?

that happened to me, but not with seasons
If it is stuck at 800x600 i can help
go to
c:/Program Files/EA games/The Sims 2 Seasons/TsData/res/Config
then change graphics rules to .txt instead of .sgr and open it
go almost all the way down to option ScreenModeResolution and change the numbers under low to the ones under medium
change it back to .sgr
go to the game and change it
this works for some people, i found it on thesims2.com
note: i clicked apply changes and it turned blue and didnt load, maybe i should try waiting longer. If it doesnt work your game will not be messed up)
