Question about Open for Business

Ok, I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but here it goes:

I installed this expansion pack this weekend. I created a family who started a restaurant at their home. Now I have food, employees, and tables, but I don't have a podium. I went to the buy list but couldn't find a podium. Where is it located (and if you know the name of it could you please tell me)?

On the conterary. You CAN indeed make a restaraunt on a home lot as I have done it myself. I believe the podium is located in the misc>misc section of the buy catalogue. (Where you find the swings)

You're right. It's also quite obvious since you can go to tons of download sites and download at-home businesses that are restaurants. 3nodding

I'm VERY confused now. Below are some pictures of a HOME restaraunt that I made when I got Open for Business. But you are right Sram, I cannot find the podium in the catalogue anymore! What's more, the chef cooker is missing too!

Oh wait! I think I remember how I did it now! I had to cheat. I had to build the place as a community lot and then use the lot zoning cheat after I placed all the community only stuff like the cooker, podium and male urinals to turn it into a residential lot and then I moved my Sim in.
So in a way we are both right. You cannot make one without cheating but it is possible. Everything works exactly as it should do as well.
Right, that should be that problem solved.
