I think Gaia is going in a good direction. The more contracts they make with bigger companies and such allow them to further the site and pay for faster servers and more features. As long as they don't overdo it with the advertising, I'm perfectly ok with it.

I personally don't find the mimzy all that appealing item wise, and the movie looks like a melting pot of a lot of things that have been done before.

I've got to agree here. I'm sort of interested in the movie because it's made by the same people who did Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but it looks like it might be just a remake with more emphasis on the kids. As for the items, I'm surprised we can only equip one at a time!
