I wanna knit my mom something for her birthday which is in october (6 months)
and dont know what i should knit her
any ideas ?

wow funny name
im making a scarf and the thread has soft fur 100 % poliester
and it keeps twisting when i knit
is there a way i can stop it from twisting ?

Do you mean it's curling in on itself, or is it twisting around like a spiral?

Also, if you really want a challenge, you could try Mobius knitting. It looks like it'd be easy once you got the hang of it, but I don't have a long enough circular, so I can't try it yet. sweatdrop

I've heard bad hings about möbius scarves. My sister took a knitting class and one of the girls was knitting one of those. From what my sister told me she was swearing sooo much during the process razz

I'm knitting a scarf that's curling in on itself sad I need to fix it somehow. I thought the pattern would prevent it from curling, but nooo...

Knitted cloths are really simple to make, but they might not be that funny to get. I made a knitted sailboat cloth for my future parents-in-law since they've got a boat.

Stockinette? Blocking will fix it temporarily. Slipping the first stitch of each row should as well.
