Things I've learned from LoZ

Several things:
1. From the original: bad graphics does not equal bad gameplay
2. From Ocarina: lock-on targeting is the only way to go in a 3-d game
3. Also from Ocarina: Making up songs for the hell of it is not only a good waste of time, but also it is a great way to annoy everyone in the room whie you are playing!
4. From Twilight Princess: Make sure that, if you make a game for the Wii, that the character is right-handed, otherwise you'll have to reverse all of the graphics.
5. Just because you are short (Wind Waker) doesn't mean you can't lift a 500-pound pig.
6. Ganondorf really needs to either get some better henchmen or pick a different career path. Seriously: like 7 games and he's still not king of hyrule?
And finally:
Chickens are the most evil creatures on the planet.

in ocorina of time if you throw a fishing rod at the fish guy in lake hyila as an adult you can steal his hat

in all games its impossible to tell if a zora is male or female except/king zora(OoT)princess ruto(OoT)queen Rutela(TP) and prince Ralis(TP)

the border for the entrance of romani ranch in majora's mask is the same one from the entrance of kakriko village in ocorina of time

so technically if you translate what it says on the romani ranch border it still says "welcome to kakariko village"

I learned that when you live in the forest away from the rest of civilization you'll always be alone. In the forest you're somewhat liked, to the rest of civilization you have to prove yourself, and eventually the friends you make end up being sages which end up in life threatening situations that you have to save them from just so that you can lose them.

money is lying around evrywhere, even in doungeons
Gannondorf needs better monsters
ice keese are annoying
masks CAN be possesed
Zelda is the ULTAMATE videogame
and last, but certantly not least,
Link is a hottie heart (when hes a teen)

You can do whatever you want while the world is being controlled by ganondorf, example: Fish, slash chickens, other side quests. People would say: 'Link, save hyrule, Ganondorf is killing everyone!'; and Link: 'I'm fishing, maybe later'

Do not ever hit chickens, everyone knows that, they get red and then there's a chicken tsunami.
A Gold(heavy) Ship can travel easily through the ocean.
There are plants that can fly.
A boomerang is very resistant to fire.
You will be cool in a volcano if you wear red clothes

Using Shadow Link as an excuse to attack a friend with a lot of force gems is fun. (the I thought you were him lie)

The "Ghost Ship" in Wind Waker was very anti-climatic.

You can use a orange snake as a whip.
A blacksmith can forge a mytical sword within hours.
A train whistle can manipulate dolphins.
