As of now, this has no pictures. I look into adding some, but they're really not needed.

Not everyone's a builder, but for those who want to be, here are some helpful hints!

House Size:
~It's easier when you know more about the family that will be moving into the house. Consider the following when you build:
~~How many people will live here? This will be important when you think about the size of your kitchen and living room.
~~How many married sims? If your sims are married [or at least in a good romantic relationship], you only need to build one room for two of them.
~~How many kids? Will they be sharing a room? Do they all get their own? If they share, consider their ages. Don't put toddlers and babies in a room with older kids... if they cry, the others won't sleep.
~~It's harder for your sims to get around large houses, not to mention how hard loading is on slower computers. Think of your computer when you build.

Bathrooms:
~Consider your own home. How many bathrooms do you have?
~~If you have large sim family, you'll probably need more than one bathroom. It gets so crowded, especially in the morning when they all need to go.
~~If you have a single story house with only one or two bedrooms, only one bathroom is really needed.
~~Larger homes require more bathrooms. The more floors you have, the more bathrooms you need.
~~If you have a particularly wide house, you may consider placing more than one bathroom on each floor. If you insist upon only putting one, try to place it more towards the center of the house, rather than forcing your poor sim to dart all the way across the house to use the toilet.

Windows:
~~In a bedroom, think of privacy. Even though, in the Sims, it doesn't matter if you change in front of windows, it's a little odd to see a bedroom with nothing but windows.

That's it for now. I'll add more later. And gather pictures! ^.^
