What do you think when people say HP is evil?

You can sort of see where they're coming from, though. I DON'T AGREE, but I can see what they think. the dementors suck out yous soul which is despised by plenty of religions.
I don't, however, understand how witchcraft is bad. It's just waving a wand and saying some words. there's good and bad magic, just like good and bad people. that's what the books are about: fighting the good. I don't get how those people couldn't understand.

No offense to HP but I've read much better novels that aren't based just from 1 person's point of view and make HP seem like its the most kiddish book with its huge print and the fact that it always seems that when I pick up a book from The Sword of Shannara trilogy that it will actually be exciting and not about one lame character with glasses

I think that Harry Potter books are really good, not evil. I was doing a research paper for school on J. K. Rowling and I came upon something that said that her books promoted bravery, kindness, and good over evil, so how in the world are the books evil? They're AWESOME!

Wow, I thought that I made a post. Anyway, they are stupid for thinking that it is. It's mostly the Christan Hard Core groups that think this. I resently did a paper on this topic, and I found out that mostlt was the hard care Christian people that was thinking this way. I don't understand. It seems as if they have to go and try to runien something good every single time. I will agree that younder childern under the age of 11 should not read Harry Potter, becasue they are to young to understand. That I belive is understanding, but the rest of their crap is not. That is what it is clap. *spits on the people who think Harry Potter is Evil!*
