Also, I read the manga. Tobi is actually Madara Uchiha, who helped found the Leaf village. His personality may be split, though. And the leader of Akatsuki, Pain-sama, is actually one of Jiraiya-sama's pupils from a long time ago when Orochimaru-san was still in the village. He killed one of his friends to obtain the Rin'negan, the ultimate eye jutsu which allows him to use all elements of chakra.

Am I the only person that thinks Kimimaru was really cool, even though he died quickly in the series?
