The Forbidden Zone (Strangest, Movie. Ever.)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Donnie Darko
May
Clerks
SLC Punk
The Devil's Rejects
Nekromantik (What is it with me and movies about necrophelia/cannibalism?)
Tideland
Baraka
The Nightmare Before Christmas (Every goth's holiday favourite)
and many more

OKAY EVERYBODY. IF YOU CAN FIGURE THIS OUT AND GIVE ME A CORRECT ANSWER, I'LL PAY YOU 2000G.

THERE'S THIS INDIE MOVIE THAT IS COMING OUT, AND IT'S ABOUT BRITISH KIDS LIVING IN AMERICA DURING THE VIETNAM WAR/PROTEST. THE MAIN CHARACTER IS AN ARITIST, AND THERE'S NOTHING BUT BEATLES MUSIC IN THE MOVIE.

I REPEAT.

IF YOU CAN FIND OUT WHAT THIS MOVIE IS I PAY YOU GOLDS. K THX.

AND RAYNE, DEAR, PLEASE PUT THIS IN THE FIRST POST. =D

I really don't feel like listing all of the movies I like, but at the moment my favorite movies are The Illusionist and Stranger than Fiction...my fav chick movie is how to lose a guy in 10 days, and I'm also crazy about Lord of the Rings. All the Pirates movies are amazing too(Johnny Depp heart heart ).

Oh. I dunno if this has already been answered but just in case it hasn't, the movie is called Across the Universe, and it got a pretty good review in the New York Times. 3nodding

My favorite movies are usually not in english, and have slow-moving or nonexistant plots and great cinematography.

Examples?
L'enfant.
Divine Intervention.
The Italian.
Riding Alone For Thousands of Miles.
Mongolian Ping Pong.
Nobody Knows.
Vodka Lemon.

I also like The Fountain, Paradise Now, Water, Best In Show, Waiting for Guffman, Raising Arizona, Waking Life, Four Eyed Monsters, Brick, Snatch, and Little Miss Sunshine.

If you've seen/like any of those movies, let me know.

Edit: I'm looking forward to Sunshine coming out on DVD (Omfg I wanted to see it so badly, it kills me that I didn't) and I really want to go see Into The Wild. (Sean Penn's new movie, which has a lame title but awesome concept.)
