I must say I haven't found a movie I've enjoyed more than the book, but they need to make a movie out of David Eddings' Belgariad and Mallorean.

No. They would murder those books. I just know it. There is no way they would be able to reproduce Begarath's casual use of the Will and the Word.

I do like some of the movies but for the most part the books are the absolute best! An example of a bad book to movie transition is Eragon. It was like the absolute worst for me. They left out so much, changed many things, and it just didn't live up to the book. I'd like to question: WHY WASN'T SOLEMBUM IN THE MOVIE???
