assigning a manager?

My big sim family owns tweo family businesses, mainly run by the vampire in the household. I want to assign a manager so that I get money even when I'm not there so that I can open a third business, but I can't seem to. I tried to assign on of my on duty workers as the manager when I'm running one of my stores, but I can't do that. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Sorry if this topic already came about, I looked but couldn't find one like it. Thanks.

As far as I know the worker you are trying to promote must have a certain number of gold talent badges. Unfortunately I don't know what this "certain number" is so I can't say for sure.


BTW, this should be in Q&A so that's where i'm popping it now.

I think Menace is right. I know everytime I've had workers with many talent badges, I could always promote them, so maybe that's what you have to do.

I think they need 3 gold talent badges, but it could be 2.

Yeah they need enough talent badges to be a manager, like everyone else is saying.

You could try to hire another sim, I got lucky before and someone for hire had alot of talent badges. Maybe you will get lucky.
