My dad says they were the 'monsters' (or whatever word your translation uses...) meantioned on Noah's ark, but they died out after the flood because the climate changed too much for them or something.

I believe they're still around, but extremely hard to find. I mean, we haven't really found out all that much about the ocean yet...

Yep. And actually there are a few scriptures that refer to dinos. Job 40:15-18 15 "Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. 16 What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! 17 His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. 18 His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. Most scholars think that the behemoth refers to a hippo, but hippos don't have tails of cedar. I think it refers to a dinosaur. But who knows?

dinosaurs existed....not billions of years ago though.......they died during the flood......most of them anyway
i have a feeling that some dinosaurs survived such as the water dwelling ones.
they found a carcass of one with the flesh still attached.

I don't know. I know I believe in them. I also don't believe in the whole creation story. I'm a very sceintific and religuos thinking person. So, I say they did and we didn't until evelution started to kick in.
