No kidding... Hamlet? Freaking original emo boy. Of course, his life really did suck a**... I actually used Hamlet for one of my AP essays today. I was pretty proud.
I can't really say I have a favourite 16th century writer... I'm not actually a big fan of the writing of that time period.

I have to agree with kikyo! He is amazing! I love midsummer nights dream! My favorite sonnet of his is 130 (My mistresses eyes are nothing like the sun)

Mercutio was my favorite character in Romeo and Juliet. Then he died *tear* But really Julius Ceasar was pretty good... mostly because my english teacher this year was awsome and had us act it out but with little twists.

All four of my cats are named after Shakespeare characters 3nodding
They're called:
Desdemona Oberon Titanya Cleopatra*
(*=Shakespeare did write an Antony and Cleopatra play if I remember rightly).
