Mad Scientist or Evil Overlord?

Mad Scientists are solitary and amazingly smart. They usually produce things that are insanely cool, too. Evil Overlords are just arrogant and annoying.

I'd prefer to be a mad scientist, though... they're much smarter and can last longer without having to deal with rebelling peasants, etc.

I could be a mad scientist but I'd enjoy the overlord thing more, I think its easier to be cleaver and plan ten steps ahead in multiple directions then it is to try to manifest ingenious inventions (as in, more sitting on my seat of power). I find it more fun to do the wholes strategy thing and combat. I like the nefariously underestimated (in intelligence) overlord characters they sometimes do.
