You know the sewing machine, Singer Protege? Is there anyone out there who has it? If you are reading this and you have it, do you ever have trouble getting the bobin to work? I finally got it filled and I tried to get the bobin to work (long story) and like an hour later I have an empty bobin and a black hand...(My hand got all the thread...)

I can't afford one either. I was sewing by hand until my mom started letting me use her ANCIENT one that didn't work that great, and now I have a singer cuz my grandma bought me one. ^^

-hands up- My old old OLD Singer has this bobbin issue, and it drives me insane since this means I can't sew at all. x__o
