A strange male with silver hair stood in the shadows listening to every word they said his left eye blue his right eye red the light from his eyes was the only light in the shadows

The crimson femme landed along the rock's face, folding her long, striped wings on her back and ruffling the feathers until they lay flat. She shook herself and stretched. It felt weird leaving Zefal behind, but she was pretty sure her little brother could fend for himself since they'd been through so much already.
She yawned and then stepped under the shade of the trees along the cliff's edge. She looked up and found a sizeable branch, eyed it for a moment, then lept up. She draped herself along the sturdy branch and watched as birds flitted along the rock precipice, twittering and happy in the sunlight.
Her ruby eyes caught on a slight movement in the shade of another tree, a wolf. Her eyes narrowed to slits and she growled softly. She was a bit on the small side, which made her wary with newcomers.

The she-wolf's eyes grew wide as he appeared before her. Her growling errupted into a snarl just as he vanished again.
She barked in alert and stood carefully upon the branch, wings out slightly to steady her as she bent foward to sniff the flower. Her eyes scanned the shrubs below, but couldn't dicern when he'd gone. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the rose's perfume, but was careful as she picked it up with her teeth for the thorns along the slender stem.
She sat back on her haunches and sighed, ears foward as she stared over the edge of the cliff, continuing to watch when the little songbirds came back, dipping and chasing each other in flight.

Caesar was quietly walking between trees. He had his head and tail down. His brown eyes were flicking back and forth to watch for danger. He sniffed the air and froze. He caught the sent of a wolf yet it smelled a little different from a wolfs scent. He sat down and kept snifing trying to tell what it was.

Caesar decided it was unimportant and moved on. His paws were bleeding and leaving bloody paw prints but he kept going oblivious to the pain.

Storm was watching him farther along the trail, not knowing to approach the hurt wolf or do something more important, like feeding herself. She slowly edged closer to him, still keeping her distance, but close enough to look at the details of the wolf.
Her white fur was not a good camouflage when following someone, she could easily be seen if Caesar knew what was following him.

With his Hikers pack by His side, He was in his wolf form Up top the cliff looking out at the sky. Laying on the ground and sighing. He had been to these lands before but had a rather bad Experience not being able to speak Wolven. During his travels he made it a personal goal to at-least be able to speak, and understand it Briefly. His Icy blue eyes gazing up to the sky.
Looking over at his pack, he used his teeth to unzip one of the pockets, reaching inside with his muzzle and pulling out a piece of Hard, Dried meat. It had a very strong smell to it, An Unfamiliar one to most.

Vera landed with a soft crash in the branches of an old cottonwood tree. She fumbled about and managed to fold her crimson wings into her body tightly enough that she could manage to traverse the broad, rough branches of the huge tree. She was still quite high about the ground and the steep drop off at the cliff's edge only amplified this effect.
The she-wolf stared down into the valley below. She was restless and her feathers stood out in a disheveled manner. If she knew where Zef was she'd probably have had the sense to tend to her bent and maltreated feathers. She snorted and reopened her wings. She lept down and glided down to ground level. It was an awkward, running landing but she kept her footing. She rolled her shoulders and settled her wings on her back after the flight that had brought her here from the forest.
Vera's red eyes scanned the brush around her, sparse as it was but didn't seem to see anything out of place. She walked aimlesly, just feeling the wind coursing over the cliff's edge and ruffling her fur.
She paced tirelessly for a few minutes and then caught wind of one thing that was out of place. Something human? She cocked her eyebrows expressively and backpeddled. A pair of khaki shorts stuck out behind a bush. She padded over cautiously, nose low to the ground.
