I don't know if this should go under the Music section or the Poetry section, so I'll just stick it here ;>> I was wondering if anyone here would offer to lend a hand in writing up lyrics for my band. I do the vocals, so the blunt of the lyrics are going to come from me. I figured this would be the perfect place to get any suggestions =] We're going to be a primarily Metal band, but the lead guitarist and I are going to do some side projects that are prolly gonna be more Industrial, Acoustic, and something Classical sounding in case anyone wants to know the genre.

I'd enjoy trying my hand at song-writing, but I'd need an indication of the sort of themes you'd be dealing with, even in a very broad sense.

For our primary Metal songs, we're just looking for your average angry pissed off Metal lyrics. They don't have to make much sense, just sound kuhl. With our Goth/Classical/Industrial side projects, we're looking for a more mordib and emotional theme.
