I was reading over some old news stories about POTC and Will kept being called expandable. Being the uber Will fan I am, I was annoyed beyond belief.

as a major jack fan, i can see why that was said, but i disagree. i think that Will (although i don't like him and hear too much glorifying of him) is a vital piece to the story and is needed very much.

I agree, whether you like the character Will Turner or not he does play a major role in the films.
