Well, since no one seems to post here I'll give a whirl at this news thing. The biggest thing going on in the U.S. is how bad our stock market is doing. Some significant stocks have been going down and don't seem as if they can come back up? Is this an omnious sign that the stock market will crash as it did before in the 1930's/40's? Many people believe it might be and are acting.
If you believe that any of this is inaccurate you are welcome to tell me so. I'm pretty sure it is by everything people have been saying.

I disagree. My dad's a full-time stock investor, he works from home. It's been doing well lately, sure, it has it's dips, but it also has it's times when it goes up quite a bit. It's been going up and down alot lately, but there's still good stocks out there. He has stock screens and many sorts of tools, he also gets IBD(investor business daily) so i hear much about this everyday. He's been planning on starting me out in stock investing... i'll wait another year though. bleh.
