I find yours romantic. In a good way. But I think that's because of the candles. 4laugh

The two random sticks on the spell table are my wands biggrin I picked up two sticks yesterday.

Haha. The camera made the image look like the light was off O_O I had the light on. Why does it look dark?! D:

No it isn't. I tried taking other pictures, they were all dark, too.

you don't really need money to buy all the altar pieces. If you want a "Bare bones" type of altar which i think is perfect for someone who cant purchase the items they want or cant practice openly for wat ever reason.

My altar is a few objects I have found in my environment that reminds me of the God and Goddess and the "Energies" that bind the universe together. I also have 4 objects that remind me of the elements. Look around your world for simple objects you find you have a connection too. Its the spirit you find in the objects that makes the altar holy not the money out into it or the Fanciest things involved into it. smile

Ill post a pic of my altar soon so I can show everyone mine biggrin

Ok....well....My camera sucks so there's no pic sorry. BUT I can at least describe what I have and why!

For the West (Water)
A bowl

For the South (fire)
A statue of a red dragon

For the North (Earth)
A smooth ball of Soap Stone

For the East (Wind)
A Goblet

These four objects represent the four elements and their presence of the spirits in the world.

In the Center

A small crystal obelisk
As an Antenna to send my energy outward

A statue of a male warrior on a chariot with a readied spear
I see the God as a Noble Protector and I thought this figure was Speaking to me from the God

Nothing At the moment (This space is for the Goddess)
Unfortunately I have yet to find anything I find worthy of her

Just a note: the only thing I purchased for the Altar was my crystal Obelisk, I find the most important thing is the connection between the object (and the thing they represent) and yourself.

Since I haven't posted pictures anywhere of my alter since before I got my Djehuty statue.


Going across the top: Bangles I found that Nebet Het said She wanted. Candle thing I ended up getting in the dice game me and my friends played, I thought it would look nice but didn't realize how much space it took. Necklace I offered to any of the Kemetic gods hoping it would bring me protection from Them.
Across the bottom: My ibis necklace that I semi-offered to Djehuty, it always lays across my ankh. My Djehuty statue. The flash drive I dedicated to my studies and then offered to Djehuty. Pens that I offered to Djehuty but since it was after classes ended and I haven't taken hand-written notes yet I haven't used them yet.
