Well, I recently uninstalled then reinstalled my Open For Business EP because I lost the disk then found it again. When I reinstalled it, I backed up my downloads and such, and didn't think twice about the music. I hate a majority of the maxis music, so I normally put my own into the game (My sims just love McFly xd), only now I can't find the music folder to put my mp3s into! Has anyone else had the same problem, and how can you get it back?

Hm. That's really strange. But maybe you can try this: Put in the disk. Go into 'My Computer' and right click on the icon. Go to 'Explore'. And I believe you can find the 'Music' folder in there and just copy into your 'C:/My Computer/My Documents/EA Games/Sims 2' Folder. :] Good luck! -----
I have all of the expansion packs installed and my music folder is located under My Documents> EA Games> The Sims 2> Music

Hehe, That's happened to me. When I first installed the pets, my whole downloads folder was missing, along with my downloads in the folder. You just make a new folder...well, it doesn't really sound that simple, but I'm sure there's somewhere you can add something...

sorry, don't mean to hijack this, but how do you put your own music into the sims? just place mp3 files in there?
