Graphics card help

Ok I really need help with this because this has been bugging me for awhile now:

Ok ever since I got the Sims 2 Pets expansion pack, I've been having problems playing this dorm. Now I was considering moving my sims out of the dorm, but there's a girl I want my boy sim to marry so I don't want to do that. Anyway I don't know where a graphics card is located on my computer and I need some help. Any bit of information would be helpful!

What are the exact problems that you've been having? Something graphical I guess?
Do you run Windows XP? If you do I can tell you how to find what graphic card you have.

Yeah I do have Windows XP. But I moved them into another house on campus since they had enough money. And I kept the dorm room so the boy can marry the girl who lives in it.

What was the problem? If its only affecting one lot then I'm not sure it can be a graphics problem.
