Its not likely, but how cool would it be (I also do know, some bands have members that are actually active on these boards), I was on the Kerrang boards, and someone 'claiming' to be Amy Lee made a post about how hard the rock and roll lifestyle is, to which, I responded, essentially saying it isn't that hard and not to hide behind it. Well anyway, here's the transcript of what was actually said.

Rellik San Firstly, I'm doubting your really Amy Lee, next, you brought this on yourself if you are, by attacking someone else through your music, it worked for bands with edge like Guns and Roses and some of the hard line Punk Bands, but not for your band. Oh and one more thing, how is the Rock and Roll life style you lead different to my Comic Artist life style? You spend most of your time in a studio or out on tour, I spend most of my time in a Studio or out at conventions, you are a public figure head for your fans who love and appreciate your work, I'm a public figure head for my fans, you try to get a message out to your fans through your art, I try to get a message out to my fans through my art... The only difference is, you have to rely on your vocal chord, I have to rely on my hands, you can turn down, the drink, the drugs, the parties, if you don't do so, its your own fault, same as it is anyones, so hiding behind the "rock n roll" lifestyle is just a cheap and cowardly way to attempt to hush your critics. If you don't like it, feel free to e-mail me, if you are the real Amy Lee and can prove it, then I'm sure because I've given my permission the Kerrang site mods will be happy to give you my E-mail address.
She has recently reposted with the following comments, to which I have once again replied too.
Amy Lee I suppose I can't really prove that I am Amy Lee but to that lovely person who told me to "feek off" you can't exactly prove that I'm not Amy Lee. And Zo I really would try and prove it to you but I can't really do that because it's against my contract in the music business to be letting the public into any "special" details shall we say? To be honest I shouldn't really be taking part in this whole argument. I just happened to be browsing on the internet and went on to the Kerrang! website and seen this whole debate going on! I'm shocked right enough but there's nothing I or anybody else can really do and I just have to let it go I suppose. Amy Lee XXX
Rellik San I thought you lived the 'rock n roll' life style, surely part of that is trying to piss off your record company as much as possible? Seriously, who ever it is, stop talking out of your a**, we know your not the real Amy Lee, you can't prove it and I'm sure Kerrang can very easily prove it by tracing the IP point of origin... its not hard. smile
