A Haiku

A haiku, The Tree.

A tree standing tall,
Its branches streaking outward,
As it glows at dusk.

Yes, I wrote it. I don't even like it that much. Ha.

It's good. To me, it actually forms an image of a lonely tree sitting on a squat hill with the rays of dusk casting trough its empty branches. In my mental image, the tree itself blocks out the sun and there is a blazing outline surrounding the tree as it casts its lonely shadow across the hillock. So yeah, it's kind of a nice image.
