i figured out the line that got me hooked.

I was reading twilight yesterday (for the fourth time) and I realized what sentence got me hooked. It's Bella's first day of high school and she's in the cafeteria.

Page 18, first sentence:

"It was there, sitting in the lunchroom, trying to make conversation with seven curious strangers, that I first saw them."

I don't know it just seemed kind of mysterious and almost seductive in a way. If you imagine dead silence and the words spaced the correct way... Oh I don't know it just was a good sentence.

The thing that got me hooked was when I saw New moon, the part with the blank pages and it said the three months. I thought that was funny, so I started to read Twilight. And I liked it, so I finished it.

Well, you see, I didn't know anything yet. It was like a week before TAKS(Week Long State Tests) And my friend on the bus brought it and was like. "Look what I'm reading for TAKS" And I was like, 'Hmm, I might read it.' So I looked it up, and got it out of the library, and read it during the first day of TAKS and just about finished it. It was awesome from that time on.

I had two hours of nothing to do, so I just kept reading Twilight, and I liked it the further I got.

I wasn't drawn to Twilight at first, but New Moon. I saw the pretty cover and read att the summeries and everything and was interested, but when I saw Twilight's name written as something like "The sequal to the award winning..." So I never read a book if it's not the first in the seires, and talked my dad into buying both books for me lol.

When I started reading it I don't know why, but I was automatically drawn into it. I've never had that reaction to a book before o.o It was weird... But I guess what kept me there the most was Edward's initial reaction to Bella.
