I loved the one back in 2000 on the 16th of july, it was such a pretty blood red colour. Tonights one is beautiful too though.

i feel proud to say that i have now witnessed both a luna and solar eclipse!!

and it was very pretty and soooooo different!!

Actually, level 5 umbra eclipses aren't that rare... it was just coincidental that the moon, earth and sun aligned when it happened... like that lunar eclipse in '03 or something... ^^;

Solar eclips is where the moon blocks out the sun I believe.
So it's like:

Yes, a solar eclipse is that. You'll need sunglasses or something when you see it. X3 I was asking her what it looked like and stuff, and how pwetty it was.

i saw one like a while ago, maybe 10 years or so, you can look at the sun directly, although you really shouldn't, and it's like a dark circle with like a glowin ring round it. and you know, what its' like when it's the twilight, like not quiet evening and not afternoon?? well that's what it's like, it's pretty funky but yea 3nodding

Also, it's not just an old wives' tale. It's bad for the eyes to look at the sun at any time, even if it's mostly blocked by the sun
