Hey I just wanna know how you all get those pose and equipments? Do you buy them with real money?

EDIT: Oh yeah, how do people have those "Please Donate to help me get this Avatar" thing on their signature?

Some items, called "Monthly Collectibles" or "Donation Items" (DI was the old name for them; MC is the current name) were purchased with real money, yeah. Some people buy them from other users for gold, but virtually all MCs were bought for real money at some point in time.

For example, from my current outfit, the two halos, the grey wings, the black hairclip things on my head, and the little black wings near my shoes are MCs.

They probably got their dream avatar picture from tektek.org - it's like a sister site to Gaia (created and run by a Gaian user), and it has item lists and prices as well as a Dream Avatar Creator.

I know I say the opposite in my quest guide, but in this case, I agree with Cody. I'd wait a while on the DJs 'til you have a good handle on how to make a lot of gold in not a lot of time, and maybe 'til you have a network of rich friends who can help you out xd

And 30 million isn't really all that much when you consider the Angelic Halo. It was the very first Monthly Collectible on Gaia, and last time I heard, it was going for around 350 million 0.o (30 million is still a lot, but in comparison...yeah xD)

Thanks, I'm still getting familiarized with everything on gaia. I've done a couple quests before, but I didn't know what was that

Hehe, I remember when 4k used to be a lot of money. Back in the day, you could buy a sealed envelope for 4k, and I hear tell that it used to be 3k...gold was a lot harder to earn back then, though. Once they made the games and Gaia Cash (used to be Gift Credits) and started dinking with the gold granting system, yeah it was easier to get gold, but the prices on everything that wasn't from a store just skyrocketed 0.o
