Distinguishing Marks: She has many scars, although only the few on her hands are readily visible.
Typical Attire: A tank top or high-collared tee with jeans or cargo pants. Is bare foot when she can get away with it, otherwise she isn't seen without her boots.
Accessories: Three piercings in each ear (although she doesn't ALWAYS wear earrings), hair clip of some sort (clips usually have some wing extensions, also wears chopsticks and pencils).
Personality: Alex is serious when it comes to work and kind when interacting with people. Her sense of humor is rather dry and she often jokes with a dead-pan expression, which can make it hard to tell if she's being serious or not. Close friends know her as jovial, extremely good natured and selfless. She's not very good at sugar-coating her words, and can often come off as blunt or straight-forward. Her intentions are the best, although her demeanor can appear detatched when forced into an awkward situation.
She's naturally curious and loves her job. Alex is very much a tomboy; she'd take jeans and a tank top over a dress or blouse any day. She has amazing patience for teaching, listening and trying to help people the best she can. She's extremely passionate and almost child-like in her enthusiasm for her hobbies; getting her on any subject of interest may cause instant friend-status and a complete turn around in her behavior.

History: Born Alessandra Falcone to Giovani and Isabelle Falcone, she was raised as a true Italian; she has a healthy respect for food and is very family orientated. Both of her parents died in a fatal plane crash while on a business trip when she was twelve; her brother disappeared after an excursion into 'uncharted wilds,' and has not been heard from in five years.
With the death of her parents, her brother had inherited the family company until she was of age to join him as a co-owner, attending college while lending her support; after his disappearance four years later, she was left as the sole Falcone of the business. Alex graduated college with flying colors, becoming an extremely skilled cartographer, balancing traditional geovisualization and cypercartography to the immense success of her company. Her brother had been skilled in star maps, and as such, her expertise in that field is greatly limited to basic knowledge.
Alex was on the road for many years, replicating maps and creating new ones, her college years of language study and hands on experience making her something of a polygot. She speaks around a dozen languages, but only four fluently, one of which she cannot write in.
Currently, Alex lives in the old family house, a modest dwelling that was too big for her lonesome; three years ago, she invited her old friends Blue and Tsar to be 'housesitters,' since she's never home enough to take care of it herself. Alex had plans to travel abroad for business meetings, but plans change...
