The hat is cute! (as is the hair- be proud of your wavy hair! Mine tries to eat my head. XD )
I'm working on scarfs and such at the moment as I will be living in a much colder enviroment than I used ot the first half of the winter. Now I need to find a hat pattern that doesnt look sutpid with my really short hair.

The hat is cute--My roomie makes a bunch like that; I prefer mine to be a bit snugger. I call them "Flapper Hats", because I make them with the style of the 1920s in mind.
I'm working on a premie hat for a friend. I'm going to make her a cute little toque (ear flap hat).

Very cool! I love making hats, both knit and crochet, that one looks like it'll be very nice to wear over the winter smile
