Jinchuu. nothing makes a story better than a crazy brother with an insanely big near-sister complex, alot of money and an equally insane fighting style.

Jinchuu because it had Kenshin's past. I love character back-stories, especially really tragic ones that have a surreal sense of beauty to them... yeah... Jinchuu..

Kyoto. It was just so... epic, and political, and ideological. And I feel like Watsuki had more time to develop his ideas at that point in the storyline... the Juppon Gatana were much more fleshed out and three-dimensional than the Six Comrades (aside from Enishi himself).

Plus Shishio is my favorite animanga villain of all time. He's just amazingly entertaining to watch, so self-assured and unpredictable... I just love that about him.

Kyoto~ ...It's sort of immediatly my favorite because of the Soujirou-ness. It doesn't get much into Kenshin's past, but my favorite character appears in that ark. And Kamatari was very interesting to watch. XD;; Still, I liked how Kenshin's character developed. His selflessness is so admirable, and he really cared about Kaoru, too. I don't even support the pairing, the moment when he left still touched my heart.

Shishio also makes the best villain.

Misao's debut was equally amusing, she's my favorite female character.

I think so too! The Kyôto storyline is just that great!! And Shishio definitely is the greatest villain of all times!! *_______*

Yeah, Shishio was definantly awesome especially since his American voice was the guy from Cowboy Bebop. 3nodding His bloopers are also the funniest.

I would have to say that it's a tie for me between Jinchuu and Kyoto, because while the Kyoto arc was heavy on political idealism and the battles were AWESOME, the Jinchuu arc really went in-depth about Kenshin's feelings toward his new life and how even though he was guilty about killing Tomoe, he did not give in to Enishi's feelings of revenge.
