Personality: Riku is a quiet lion, very subdued with any emotion. He loves his family more than anything and will tell them that easily, but being a slave for most of his life has made him mellow and introverted. He still thinks of the days as a slave, and the painful scars he still has on his shoulder. He's something like a war veteran, sometimes thinking for hours about the past and having a hard time seeing the present.
Background: Riku was born into a loving family, made up of his father, mother, brother and sister. But just as life began for the cub, he was taken away by a lion with an evil purpose. Now he is a slave, and he awaits the day he is old enough to escape and get back to the family that misses him so.
Tamariku returned to his family as an adolescent. He brought with him two beautiful new cubs, and the love of his life, Kichea. He holds no hatred towards what happened to him, blaming only the tyrant Nyek for it. But Riku learned much, and he doesn't dwell on the past. He lives out his days in serenity, taking care of his family and enjoying life.

Personality: Tui is an old soul with a young body. She adores asking other creatures about heir lives, though most find her nosy she just thinks of herself as curious. She loves to tell stories, and although she doesn't think of her own life as very interesting, she can easily make any story interesting with her way of telling them.
Background: Tui'lian was born into the world of slaves, but thankfully her time there was very short. She and her brother were never marked as slaves, and the two barely even knew the danger they were in the first weeks of their lives. But now they reside at home with their family, and they are much safer.

Personality: Tari is like her father, to Yua's distress. She is able to 'see' words when others speak. She doesn't find this odd, it's just how she is. She sees the words as colored clouds that melt away into the ground after the words have been spoken. Each word corresponds with a color, depending on the creatures mood. Red when they're angry, green when they're envious, yellow when they're scared, etc. She inherited this ability from Yua, who can see creatures auras as colors.
Tari loves all her sisters and would do anything for any of them. But being one of six girls isn't easy and she sometimes feels neglected, even though she knows her parents try their best to spread their love equally between the six sisters. Tari sometimes gets in trouble on purpose to get thier attention, but she would never do anything too bad.

Personality: Kia's mood is as changing as the waters of the ocean. He can go from being hyper and happy to solemn and lazy to angry and impatient. Most of the time he's kind-hearted and calm. He gets along rather well with his siblings, though he has a very strong sense of independence, and he seems to be wiser than his years. He also has an obsession with the stars. He conjures up stories about them in his mind, picking out shapes in their patterns.
One of his favorite stories is 'The Tree of Life.' He believes that the constellation gives life to all souls, whenever someone is born a star goes out, and when someone dies a star is reborn, living and growing to once again give life to a new soul.

She is like an ocean wave, because one second she can be calm and friendly, and the next she can snap at you and be much like a wave breaking on the sea. Personality: Kona is, simply, a ladies man. He has a slick tongue and a charming smile. He knows what to say to get any woman to drop her guard, But he has a fear of commitment that he'll never get over. He's not very good with children, he's awkward around them and really has no idea what to do. Personality: Kazi is all kinds of odd. He's blind in one eye, but it doesn't phase him in the least. He's extremely hyper, and he seems to have some form of A.D.D. He also has O.C.D., and like his siblings, he has a strange disease on top of the other two. He can hear and see auras of inanimate objects. Unlike his older sister Tari, he can't see words when spoken. He can't see anything of moving, talking creatures. But when it comes to rocks, trees, dirt, grass, bones, etc, he can see a faint glow around them, and hear the inner voice of them. Or so he thinks. It's really all in his head, but he believes it to be completely true, and he's rather convincing.
This makes him walk around talking to plants and rocks, and sometimes he prefers their company over his siblings. He collects the rocks that he finds worthy company, and he keeps them in a pouch around his neck. He only carries a few at a time, the ones he deems most worthy for the days adventure. If he's going somewhere where there's a lot of water, he'll bring the rock that lived on the shore. If he's going somewhere that has prey, he'll bring his hunter rock. All in all, it has made him quite the oddball and he tends to stay away from others, since they judge him most of the time. As he gets older he'll learn to better hide his 'gift' (as he likes to think of it, where as Yua thinks it a curse) but he'll never stop carrying around his friends.
