Welcome to the interguild WiFi league. Hopefully this will be the LARGEST pokemon league on all of gaia!

The League starts NOVEMBER FIRST!

Contents:

I. Introduction ((this post))

VI. Guidelines for using Substitute Players

To join, you must simply be on a team of 5 trainers.

Guidelines for teams:

- Teams MUST consist of FIVE players. No more. No less
- 3 substitute players per team are allowed, but they are not allowed to be on any other teams.
- When joining up for a team, you have the option of representing a guild, or yourself.
- If everyone on your team is representing the same guild, your team then represents that guild
- Before the league has started, team leaders are free to drop/add/trade players freely
- Once the league has started you may only trade players if BOTH team leaders agree and BOTH players agree.
- Once the league has started you may only drop a player if the player agrees to it, and your team may not battle again until you find a replacement.
- Once the league has started, you may only acquire new players through trading or dropping and replacing as stated in the above rule.

Potential rules for salaries and the sort will be decided when I have more information about what the TOS bans and not.

Guidelines for pokemon battles:

- Auto Level 100 singles matches. Doubles only allowed if BOTH trainers agree to it. If either does not want doubles, then it's singles.

- Follow all standard clauses as listed here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=10414377

How things will work

- Every Saturday @ midnight ((sunday)) new matchups will be posted in this subforum

- Captains will need to make sure their members are active and that they follow up on their battles.

- Report back in here after each battle. If your opponent is non responsive, please tell us so we know the situation. Inactive players are an automatic LOSS!

- The team who gets best 3 out of 5 battles ((in most cases at least, since both teams have 5 members)) earns a Team Win.

- Tallies will be kept of Teams that win the Team Battles, Teams whose trainers win the most, and which individual trainers win the most.

- At the end of the season, awards will be given, and plans for the next season shall commence!

General Tips to keep things running smoothly

Captains:

- Make sure your team is active! If needed, switch out inactive members for subs, or players who need a team!

- Keep your players informed of going ons in the league.

- Encourage your members to check the HQ on a near daily basis

All Battlers:

- PM your opponent with what times you can battle, and what time zone you're in. Be sure to provide your Friend Code

- If you cannot contact your opponent/they are not responding, please report this to us in the report in tread.

- Be courteous to your opponent. Say GG after a match ((although, if a good deal of luck takes place, maybe it's best to say GG despite the luck or something like that)). Respect their wishes if they do no want Voice Chat on.

- Make sure you have access to WiFi!

Rules for using Subs:

- In the event that one of your players is not active for the week he/she is battling, you may use one of your substitutes to replace him/her.

- You must announce in the report in thread:

Who is being substituted, and who is taking their place.

- It is now the responsibility of the sub to be active and battle.

- The subs victory/loss goes towards your Team VS Team victory/loss, but player who has been switched out does not gain any individual points.

- 1 sub can only sub for 1 person. There is a limit of 3 subs per team.
