Personality: Always inquisitive, he has a thirst for knowledge and a need to know things. He is far from being 'bookish' and isn't afraid to explore in order to gain knowledge. He also isn't afraid to ask questions, some of which can be rather probing or uncomfortable. After losing so many members of his family, Adi'sa is somewhat needy for attention and fearful of losing anyone close to him. And despite his need for knowledge, he can still sometimes overlook the other things in life, like people's feelings, but generally keeps trying until he gets things right. Due to a somewhat startling cub-hood, he doesn't have much experience in the way of 'playing' so he might appearstand-offish or even uptight but its simply because he doesn't know how to do it.
History: When the Ela lands were peaceful, the Earth clan prospered. Their pale beauty Katika had chosen her mate in Dak, and they were blessed with three wonderful cubs. Dak often liased with the other clans, and saw his cubs very little. So, it was for Katika, her mother Grandi, and her sister Bwena to raise the cubs. Grandi loved her grandchildren very much, but loved her grandson the most. She named him Adi'sa, for she could sense his potential and knew he would make a difference one day. It was Grandi that encouraged Katika to have Adi'sa see the clan's nvwati. And to Katika's joy, Adi'sa did indeed show great potential as a nvwati. But darkness loomed over the Ela lands, and as the Darkfire invaded, Katika fought bravely but was killed in battle. Dak proved himself to be a coward, fleeing from the battlefield. Grandi took her grandchildren and with a heavy heart, began the trek to the new lands. Jusi and Chipipi succumbed to the Plague. And upon reaching the border of the new Ela lands, Grandi passed away peacefully in her sleep. Young Adi'sa was left to wander alone, tormented by the voices of spirits both trying to guide him and trying to mislead him.
Now an adult, Adi'sa is faced with a whole new set of challenges, most of them in personal situations and getting to be a lion again. With his aging friend not long for this world, how will the youth cope as the only nvwati?

Personality: Atla is very much her mother's daughter. Equally as cute and adorable as she was at that age, Atla is a very conscientious cub, moreso than her mother, exhibiting her father's keen mind. A lot of her little habits and curiosities evolved out of sharing a life with a twin, Alta, and they can sometimes mirror each other. She can also be a bit independent and out of them all is the most likely to leave her homelands in search of new faces.
History: Her parents were star-crossed lovers, so naive and innocent in their courtship, that an equally loving family was sure to follow. Ihlo and Njozi love their children dearly and teach them all of life's ups and downs.

Personality: Very much a bubbly, bright, enthusiastic girl, she can be impatient at times and over-zealous in her approach. But patience will no doubt come with time. Binti loves nature and all things natural, fascinated by the trees, the grasses, the animals, the sounds, the smells, the everything. She tends to live in a bit of a fairytale world at times. She is the most like her mother, particularly in her litter-mates, and that does come with its own stigma. At times, she assumes that she is JUST like her mother. No matter what anyone else says.
History: After a cub-hood of exploring every inch of the lands she calls home, she could probably navigate blind-folded now. She seeks some excitement, some challenges, but she can't quite bring herself to sever her strong bonds with her family. And so she is restless at the moment, not her usual bubbly self.

Personality: Chuck is an incredibly conflicted individual. For a start, she has never been totally in-tune with her domain, mostly because its 'conformity'. She's quite often pulled in many directions, and conforming to any of her family's other domains can leave one rather confused. She is slowly realising though that she has no need to conform to anyone if she doesn't want to. Why can't everyone else conform to her instead?
History: Chuck's creation, and that of her mixed siblings, came from a somewhat strained relationship in the first place. Her father is a devout God, living his domain, taking it to extremes that maybe not all Gods do. And her mother is obedient to whomever she shows allegiance. Which is her father. So yes, strained and bizarre.

Personality: As a cub, she was very energetic, very destructive, and just generally a cub. Aside from her sister, the Oasis was full of cubs to play with, and she was never left without a playmate. Her formative years are ones of being spoiled and played with, but with lack of affection from her mother. So now, as her life collapsed around her and the shock of growing into an adult has left her mentally numb, she has no useful skills whatsoever - she can't hunt, she can't track, and she can't defend herself. She still holds a slightly attention-seeking, bratty attitude, hoping someone will come along and do everything for her.
History: One of Nyek's many ill-gotten daughters, Dhiki is one of the handful that actually got to see him before his death. She didn't pay much attention to him though, and only remembers the tone of his voice and the fear he tried to instill in Dhiki and her sister. After his death and the collapse of the Oasis, Dhiki and her sister were left alone, none of the many recruits or mothers from their father's pride wanting to take care of yet more cubs. Eventually, even Dhiki's sister left her. Now, having grown to be a scavenger rather than a hunter, she is no more impressive than even the scraggiest of hyenas and unfortunately, she knows no better.

He has much more important things whirring around his head, like the flying bugs, the waters edge, the leaves, the rocks...

Personality: Gehenda is inquisitive and deep. He almost gets a strange joy out of tearing his own world apart by asking 'why?'. He tends to be an evasive indivdual, a defense mechanism evolved out of his family's lean in life. He is not nearly as 'soft' as he was in his cubhood, and has embraced his traditionalism...for now. There is still those niggling parts of his mind that like to ask why and he can easily be flustered when asked about his faith.
History: After the uprising and the great fight between traditionalists and rebels, the rebels came out with stronger numbers. His sister Kenna took a natural lead over the remaining traditionalists, and despite being given a 'lordship' position, Gehenda does not rise to it. He's just the same as the others. At first somewhat intimidated by those fragile borders seperating the now two prides, he finds himself skirting that invisible line more and more often, his curiosity getting the better of him on many occasions.

Personality: Very sweet and innocent, Ihlo loves to look at things. The grass, the trees, the sky, the clouds, anything she can visually pick apart for patterns and colour. She's a very pleasant and playful lioness, despite the upheaval in her younger days. Although reluctant for change, she's had to come to terms with it after meeting her father properly and embracing his new family as her own. Now, she takes her duty as a big sister very seriously, and eventhough she has love in her life and a bright future to look forward to, her family is never far from her thoughts. She'll often put others before herself.
History: The result of a wayward meeting of Ishara and Harabu, Ihlo is certainly the odd one out in her family. The only cub of Ishara's to be born totally white, and the only girl in her most recent litter. The signs of her father are emblazoned in red on her shoulders and eye. Now, Ihlosenka has moved to the Kusini lands with her mother and siblings, for stability and safety. Here, she has blossomed into a lovely lioness, still possessing a child-like innocence that simply defines her. She made the effort to seek out her father, and she is always thankful she did. He and his new family have been such an influence in her life that its hard to remember much from before she was accepted into his paws. But no sooner has she found her family than she is looking to start her own - with the charming Njozi.
