Need help with burns.

Here is my dilemma, I have multiple AVIs that I would like to burn onto a DVD-R. I was messing around and recently discovered that my laptop could burn DVDs. So I went out and purchased a 50 pack for 10 bucks. Now I'm stuck. biggrin Although I've read multiple guides on this, I simply can't seem to grasp all the steps I need to take.

Could I just drag-and-drop the AVIs into the DVD and burn it? If I do that would it run in a standard DVD player? Or do I have to convert the AVIs into a DVD format thingy.

I'm not too good with this stuff.

Oh, here is where I can help.

I found a program which can actually do everything for you.

Super DVD Creator.

First, you load the AVI's into the program, in the order you want, and go next.

Then you set up a DVD menu, with a background picture and where you want the menu items to be and the such.

Then you select the drive, the burn speed, and the outcome (I always set it so it increases the resolution, which is why I got this program).

When you use a normal burning program, it causes the screen to come out retarded and all the people have pixelated outlines.

This program increases the res to 4:3 or 16:9 to match your television screen, and everything is smooth just like it would be on your computer.

Then after you select all that, insert your DVD-R and then go to start.

The program will convert your AVI's to VOB's and then burn them onto the disc.
