I don't know why, but I was reading these two articles on Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internets

I find it interesting amusing when the President of the United States makes various "folksy" mistakes. I'm not claiming to be an expert or anything, but his mistakes are just... wow.

I've never actually heard of 'Bushisms' before, but I think that they truly are humourus, once I read some sayings that George Bush said.

"I am here to make an announcement that this Thursday, ticket counters and airplanes will fly out of Ronald Reagan Airport"

That one is my favourite phrase rofl

Is it true that he yelled at some kid for yawning at one of his speeches? Really, who DOES that?

Look at them squirm like worms in mud,
Blaming a ghost who's flesh and blood.
Crossing the line, tossing the dice,
Making decisions and paying the price.

I always knew our president was stupid. xd

I believe that one of the two following theories is true:

(My Theory): The President is truly that ignorant in his speeches, or is too nervous and makes slips like that every time.

(My Friend's Theory): He is pretending to be that way so he can relate to the common person.

It is because of this that I am happy to live in Canada. Our Prime Ministers do not say such things as often as president Bush does.

It's to give us distraction from the "real" government: bloodthirsty vandals who want to feast on your minds.

Maybe it's just me, but all of the 'making light' that people do with Bush, sort of seems like we're saying "Yes, he's dumb, but it's ok." The whole thing seems like just another facet of humanity's ever growing inclination to coddle the stupid, while leaving the intellectually sound people to battle over the scraps.

It sickens me.

My thoughts exactly. A lot of my friends think he's a God, and I'm not sure why.

I am ashamed to say that I voted for Bush this last term.... only because I felt Kerry was a worse choice.....

To be honest, I am fed up with the sorry excuse of a government the US tries to pass off. It has so many flaws and makes no effort to correct them.
The deficit in the government budget is a prime example.

So now I live in Mexico. Go figure.

"They misunderestimate me."

I want to move. Thank God the '08 election isn't too far.

Hahaha! Well, his stupidity won over my Roommate:
"I like Bush."

"You mean his posistions?"

"I don't like the Iraq war anymore."

"Anything else? Anti-abortion? Anti-gay marrage?"

"I don't care. I just like him... a lot more than Kerry."

"Because he was an intellectual?"

"I just didn't like him."
