Has anyone read this book? I'm new, so I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it before, but this is a fantastic book! It made me love punctuation. It's hilarious and informative.
The author is British, so she explains the punctuational differences between British and American grammar (full stop vs. period, etc.) She has a section on almost every punctuation mark, and the edition I have comes with a punctuation correction kit! (Stickers xd )
I think most people here would love it.
Edit: Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place; I wasn't thinking.

That book is amazing! I read it for my High School Book Club, then ran around with a red sharpie correcting the graffiti on the bathroom walls! xd

Doppelgaanger "Quote from a Gaia Sig:" 'Let's eat Grandpa!' 'Let's eat, Grandpa!' Punctuation: it saves lives." It took me a second to go through that in my mind. That is just ******** HILARIOUS!

I love it, love it, love it! (Heck, I just recommended it on the sticky about the lack of literacy in modern America.) Now I just need to find my copy so I can actually finish it! sweatdrop

I've read some of it, before being rudely interrupted by a four month scholarship to Japan... I'll be finishing it when I get back though. =]

I love this book! Has anyone here read Lynn Truss' other book, "Talk to the Hand"? And can someone remember if it is properly Lynn Truss' book or Lynn Truss's book?
