I'm just arguing this here because if I argue in the Gaming section, fanboys start to man their battlestations.
So any rate, why the heck are analog sticks used for movement seen as the better alternative to Wiimote control? Games like Metroid Prime 3 use one stick to move, but as I've stated before looking around is just better through pointing and aiming. Yet what about stuff where you feel better just pointing, moving or tilting the controller? I think analog sticks are ok for classic gaming, but pointers are a class of their own, and if they are seen as uncool then at least don't send the game Nazis after those who use it.
Maybe I should stay off the internet and just play without society poking their butts into my business. mad

Well, it's more of a personal preference thing. If you're used to the Wii's controller and can maneuver it with relative ease, you won't hate it (as I do, because I am not one of those people). If you can't stand analog, you're going to like the Wii more, and if you can't stand the Wii you're going to like analog more.

But...Halo's awesomeness cannot be played on wiiiiiiiii *whines* crying Ok, seriously... xd Yes that is definably true not only because I prefer the Wii setup, but also keyboard and mouse, especially since ALL the Halos can be played on my Vista-powered machine. razz Really, 2 analogs feel stiff to me in comparison.

Personally, being a sniper, Wiimotes are quite awesome, and only a mouse beats it because of the time in use =/
Analog sticks are okay for movement, I guess, and that's why the Wii has a nunchuck.
