So much had happened since the white female had came here to seek out her new home. Sevati had become an aunt, became attached to Ravi, and best of all, loved the ocean. Never before had she felt like she was home, that the lions here didn't care that what she was but what she held for the future. Lime green eyes shone brightly as she padded along the shoreline of the ocean, letting the waves roll in and out over her paws.

Because she was born by the ocean, Neoni'liga had always considered it to be her home. Her mother Leboya had introduced her and her siblings to the Bahari'mtoto pride when she was just a cub. Ever since then, Neoni'liga had remained a member, even when her mother left and her siblings slowly drifted apart. Although it hurt her not be surrounded by her biological family anymore, she was happy to be surrounded by other Pride members, and she did her best to make herself useful to the Pride.
With a content smile on her face, she happily trotted down the beach, until she spotted a large white figure nearby. Neoni'liga was just about the average size for an adolescent lioness, but the adult female she saw just ahead of her seemed bigger than the average adult lioness. Not put off by this fact, her smile widened slightly as she made her way over to the stranger. "Hi there!"

As the water splashed her paws, Sevati couldn't help but smile. It was nice and cool, the weather would start to change. Her ears pricked forward as a greeting drifted her way. Lime green eyes scanned the area before they settled down on a brightly colored female not too far away. Ah, this had to be another pride member, she thought silently. Though, this female's colors were lovely, something she's never seen before. The newcomer looked a little smaller than herself, but not by much and so, she had to be just a little younger. Returning the greeting with a smile as she replied, "Hello!"

When Neoni'liga reached the white female, she quickly bowed her head in greeting. "I'm Neoni'liga, pleased to meet you!" As always, the brighly-coloured adolescent had a cub-like enthusiasm about her, so she was more than happy to be the first to introduce herself.
"I've never seen you before. Are you a new member of the Bahari'mtoto?" Saying that, her head tilted slightly in curiousity. Lots of lions and lionesses seemed to be making their way to the coast lately, and the Bahari'mtoto often welcomed them with open paws. The idea of her adopted family growing bigger by the day pleased Neoni'liga to no end.

As the other introduceed herself, Sevati did the same. "It's a pleasure, Neoni'liga! My name's Sevati." Her tail flicked as the waves rolled in, slightly touching her paws with the cool water. At the Neoni's question, she nodded her head. Ah, had she found another member of the pride? The white lioness had definitely hoped so. "Yes, I'm one of the new members along with my part of my family and my companion. Are you part of the pride?"

Neoni'liga nodded gleefully. "I've been a member since I was a cub. I was born just outside of the Pride's borders, further along down the coast. When me and my siblings were old enough to travel, our mother introduced us to the Bahari'mtoto!"
She had always felt very grateful to be a member of a Pride that appreciated the sea as much as she did, and she wondered if Sevati felt the same way. "The sea is the best isn't it?" Neoni'liga's opinion about the sea was biased, as she had never actually ventured too far in land. To her, the grassy ground of land didn't feel as natural under her paws as sand did.

As Neoni told her a little bit about herself, Sevati listened. Her head was tilted slightly as ears were perked forward. Ah, so she had siblings as well? That's good, she didn't think she'd want to be alone without her siblings, especially her older sister. "Oh wow! My sister and I have come and joined the pride, so you might see her around as well. Though, you probably wouldn't recognize her as being my sister since we look like opposites." She giggled softly, "I'm very happy to be here."
At Neoni's question, she couldn't help but to agree. "My former homeland was filled with water, although it had started to dry up," She paused to look out at the sea, "While I visited the lake as often as I could, the ocean is something entirely different. It's gorgeous and very fun to play in!"

(( sweatdrop Sorry for the lateness luff. ))
As far as Neoni'liga knew, her three siblings had left the Pride already, or had taken a trip away from it for a while. She hadn't seen any of them in ages, and she already knew that her mother had left. As she thought about this, her smile faded somewhat. "You're lucky you and your sister have stuck together. I have no idea where my sister and my brothers are right now." It was unlike the blurple lioness to stay sad for long though, so she perked up soon after saying that and quickly changed the subject.
"Oooh, where do you come from then?" Because Neoni'liga had lived a rather sheltered life, she couldn't help but be curious about the many Prides that lived in-land. There was loads apparently, yet the Bahari'mtoto seemed to be the only one situated on the coast. "Those in-landers don't know what they're missing!" She grinned.

((*fluffs again* It's quite alright, I understand that things can come up! <3))
Ears flicked forward as Sevati listened to Neoni talk. She was rather fortunate to still have her sister with her, especially since her other sister and mother had left so long ago. It had been some time that her mental image of her mother was all blurry and her sister's, she was starting to forget what she looks like. But mental images don't matter as long as she knows they still love her.
A smile spread across her features as she heard Neoni's questions. "I'm formerly from the Mistweaver pride. They were situated close to this big lake and there were many streams that flowed through close to us. But once I had started growing up, it was then that we noticed the water was starting to dry up. So, my father went in search of a place where we could live," She nodded her head, "They don't know what' they're missing! I love the water, and the ocean, I almost fainted with happiness when I saw it. The only thing I had to get used to, was the salt since the water back in-land isn't salty."

Neoni'liga hung on Sevati's every word. "Mistweaver eh? That's a pretty name." She also liked the idea of a Pride that was located right next to a huge lake, despite the fact that nothing could beat the ocean in her eyes. "It's a shame about that lake drying up, but at least you don't have to worry about that here!" She beamed as she looked out over the sea.
The neon adolescent giggled at the mention of salt water. "When I was young, the sea water would sting my eyes. It was horrible!" She grinned. "I'm used to it now though."

With a nod of her head, it was a shame that the lake was drying up. If it wasn't for that and the hostility that her family received there Sevati would still be there. Her lime eyes glanced at Neoni, "It's a pretty name that fits the place perfectly," She paused, "I surely hope we don't have to worry about that here!" She giggled softly, the ocean was so large she couldn't imagine where all the water would go!
Nodding her head, "It's very different! The first time I ran into the ocean, my eyes burned. What a sight I must have been at the time," She giggled softly at the memory of making a fool of herself. "It'll take me a while to get used to the salty water, but I don't see that as stopping me from running through the waves. It's just too much fun!"

Neoni'liga grinned from ear to ear. Clearly Sevati appreciated the sea as much as she did, and that was always a good thing. "Running through the waves is the best! Especially when it's a bit windy." The neon adolescent had never been scared of the water. Her mother had always kept a very close eye on her, and she taught her to swim at a very early age. Even now, although she wasn't fully grown, she was a very powerful swimmer.
As the pair trotted down the beach, Neoni'liga scanned the horizon. Despite her seemingly naive nature, she was always on the look-out for trouble. She was only a huntress in the Pride, but still, it didn't hurt to be aware. "I can't wait until the Pride is filled with other lions." She grinned.

The white lioness agreed. Sevati loved to play in the waves, splashing the water everywhere. As the pair continued to walk forward, her lime green eyes gazed forward, taking in the scenery. "It is! Especially when you get water on an unexpecting victim." She giggle softly. Oh yes, Ravi had definitely be her victim countless times.
With a slight nod of her head, "The same here. I cannot wait to see more lions teeming around here, it'll be nice to see friends all the time...or little cubs to play with! I'd like to have cubs one day...so then I can have them all bug everyone!" She teased playfully.

Neoni'liga laughed at Sevati's cheeky revelation. If she had a shell for everytime she had splashed an unsuspecting victim, or shook off her wet fur right beside them, she would have a tonne of shells. "I remember when I was a cub. When we first came here, one of my brothers ran straight into the sea and inhaled a huge mouthful of sea water. It was so funny!"
At the mention of cubs, a more thoughtful expression graced Neoni'liga's face. She definatly wanted cubs eventually too. Although she had been collecting shells all her life, just recently she had started collecting them specifically so that she could make gifts for her cubs whenever she had them. "I just need to find me a mate." She said finally, grinning as she did so. "Which means it's definatly worth waiting for new members!"

A soft chuckle escaped from Sevati as she heard Neoni's story. That sounded so funny, something she had done when she first came here. Afterall, the water inland isn't salty like the ocean is. "That must have been a good laugh! My mate wasn't too keen on getting into the water, until I got him wet. He's not exactly used to the water, since he didn't grow up with it like I did." The desert was a hard place afterall.
With a large smile, "Oh yes, that'd definitely be something to look forward to. I'll have to watch for little colorful cubs running around so then I know who they're from." She winked at Neoni playfully.
