I'm sure you all know that if at first you don't succeed, yadayadayada...but why the hell are so many internet forums on every site so full of jerks? It's phenomenal. It's like I try to say anything about sex being overused and video game characters being overexploited and they just run me over. I want to know what the proper way of starting a thread without getting your a** handed to you would be. Otherwise I'm going to the FCC and suing them for misconduct of disadvantaged people online everywhere.
Edit: case in point, Tifa from FFVII is not necessarily deemed a sex object. Yet that's why so many bash and flame me on another forum site, and it does not make any sense because they seem to all act like they're from a league of perverted fatties whose words are always right compared to me. Sheesh. O_O;

When you're on the internet, no one knows who you are. You can be a total a*****e to everyone, and unless you tell them where you live, they can't come to your house with a sawed-off shotgun and bad intentions. On the internet, you can always make another "user," another "self" if the first one gets banned for flaming/trolling/being an asshat.

Like other people've said, a lot of it is simply because they know you can't do anything about it online, even though you might slap'm for it in real life.
