In the dictionary it states that tomatoes are fruits used as vegetables.
Some people say that Tomatoes are friut because they have seeds, but what about cucumbers, corn, beans, squash, and pumpkins?

 tomatoe is a fruit because the seed used to grow more tomatoes is INSIDE the fruit. Vegetables have seeds on the plant part when they grow.
