next fall around september or october...whichever works best cool but not too cold put in bulbs for springtime color in your garden. gladeolas and irises make lovely color for a garden with very little tending cept for weeding.

putting in the bulbs is good but during mild fall weather you can also get a mulch bin built. there are great patterns for any kind of garden mulch bin from the tiny space garden to the great big wide open garden. Mulch is one of the best things you can do to not only recycle those vegetable scraps but save the environment from the plastic bags soils come in. Mulching is a green thing to do!
