You should definitely put the foot flat on the floor, unless his foot is resting on something in front of it. This may sound awkward, but it might lend character if his foot were a bit askew in angle to his body, especially since his thigh seems to be turned outward.
Also, he seems to be leaning rather awkwardly. I think it's not the leg that's weird, I think his shoulder is just a bit too high. Because he's slouched that way, his shoulder wouldn't move upward for him to lean, only his arm. I think his arm might be resting on the knee at the forearm, and not the elbow. Try sitting in that position, and see where your body naturally ends up, and then remember the position and try to emulate it on paper. If you don't have an opportunity to do that, try bringing the shoulder down to the correct place, and rotating his head a bit further downward, if you feel you need to (although I think his head is in a good place).
