They have recently put a new sign up for the library, it is located right beside the doors. Here is what it says:
"C R NU BOOKS @ TEH LMC"
I nearly cried the day I saw that. Are even our libraries falling to this new wave of 'TXT TLK'?

Damn librarians are getting dumber too, they need to get the computers away from their dumbasses and give them Paper and Pencil, WAIT They'll start using '1337' and 'TXTTALK' on it. -w-

But how quickly we forget Such a sure and perfect plan, And unlearn the passions that once had burned. ...Maybe they were doing that because of the "media" part? As in computers? sweatdrop But how could I have seen? What was I to do? How could I know I would find you? -Erik, The Phantom of the Opera, Tom Alonso

And by the way, this isn't the first like this I've seen. They've done it before, just never that extreme. confused

It's quite upsetting a place of literature such as a library is starting to fall in with this new trend of "txt tlk".
It was probably done to gain the attention of the younger audience, ie, the general teenage population, which is quite sad really. For myself, however, being 14, I've lost quite a bit of respect for the library because of that. :/
I can only hope my own library doesn't start with it...

[FlyingPigKnockout] It's quite upsetting a place of literature such as a library is starting to fall in with this new trend of "txt tlk".

I can only hope my own library doesn't start with it... Hope and pray. I am glad to say, however, that I have been to other high schools, and they didn't have anything near this bad. So maybe it's just my school.

That's so sad. I really, really hope that doesn't happen in my library. I think I would go on some kind of maniacal ( Is that spelled right?) rampage.

It's times like this, I'll ask myself, was I right to be born now?
I'd fit more back in the Middle Ages as a governess. I would never allow that at my school.
