Well, I really do love Super Smash Brothers. It’s a great series…but, Nintendo hasn’t asked me yet if they can use Mega Man in their game. I’m still waiting…we have a little bit of time left, it’s not coming out for another few months. They might get around to asking us if we’d like to put Mega Man in Super Smash Brothers. Maybe if somebody from Nintendo is listening to this podcast, they’ll give me a call.

So there you have it…Inafune says no Mega Man in Brawl. I guess we’ll have to keep our fingers crossed for the next Smash Bros. game. Huge thanks to Tinker for the heads up.

I was totally expecting Megaman to be in, but now he apparently doesnt have any chances. The only other 3rd parties I can think of liking now would have to be Geno(Square Enix) or Pac-Man(Namco).

Doesn't even phase me to be honest. He'd be such a close match to Samus in firearms and probably attacks as well so he'd basically be a clone in a way. This is arguable but let's just go with what I'm saying.

He's just the creator. He doesn't own the rights to Mega man. Capcom could've done whatever they want with the Blue Bomber.

But... We'll have to wait and see....
